Membership in Theta—whether we’re alumnae or collegians—challenges us, supports us, and makes us better people. In turn, by supporting Theta, we gain opportunities to renew old friendships, contribute to a better world, and amass incredible experiences. By supporting Theta, we are part of something larger than ourselves.
By paying alumnae per capita dues, you can help fund alumnae programs; maintain record-keeping; establish new chapters; recognize 25-, 50- and 75-year Thetas; and continue your subscription to the Theta magazine.
Kappa Alpha Theta Life Loyal provides you another way to pay per capita dues – for life! – and receive all printed issues of the Kappa Alpha Theta Magazine. Learn more about Life Loyal.
About Boston Metro Alumnae Chapter
We are thrilled that you are interested in becoming a member of the Boston Metro Alumnae Chapter! Becoming a member does not need to be a formal process. All initiated Thetas are always welcome at our events! See below for a couple of ways to get involved:
1. Subscribe to our mailing list by clicking here! We send emails weekly with the latest information about upcoming events and chapter activities. All Thetas are always welcome
2. Make sure your information is up to date with Kappa Alpha Theta Fraternity Headquarters. You can update your information by visiting www.kappaalphatheta.org. You must be logged into the Fraternity website in order to access the form to update your records. If you have never logged in to the website, you will need your membership ID #. If you have trouble logging in, please email us.
3. Follow our socials or check out our weekly emails for the latest social, service, and professional events! We are always looking for Leading Women to help plan events and introduce new ideas and perspectives. Keep an eye out for our Interest Indicator which opens every February for available opportunities to join our leadership team.
4. Consider becoming a Dues Paying Member! While our events are open to non Dues Paying Members, those that pay Dues can get priority for certain events or special discounts. Dues help our chapter operate, and ensure that you will continue to receive the Kappa Alpha Theta Magazine quarterly. We offer a variety of different dues levels based on membership types and collect dues once annually. Please note that $31 of your dues are to cover your per-capita fees with Fraternity Headquarters (these are paid in full already if you are a Life Loyal member). Dues are paid through the Theta Portal (see Member Login at the top of our site).
